Dr. Teena Lakshmi B

Assistant Professor

Dr. Teena Lakshmi B, Ph.D., is an accomplished scholar in Agricultural Economics, holding a doctoral degree from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and she was awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship Grant. Her research primarily delves into the “Impact of ASEAN-India Free Trade Agreement on Indian Agriculture: A Quantitative Approach”.

She completed her undergraduate studies at TRIARD College, Perambalur, and pursued her master’s degree in Agricultural Economics at PAJANCO RI &I, Karaikal. Driven by a passion for research, she has published papers in esteemed journals indexed in NAAS and Scopus.

Dr. Teena’s professional journey started serving as a Young Professional in the World Bank-assisted state government project titled “Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project”. Her adeptness in handling data and utilizing various economic analysis software tools such as R, Stata, SPSS, and EViews has been honed through her research and work experiences.

Her expertise includes agricultural economics, production economics, agricultural marketing, and international trade are some areas she focuses on.
