In a world characterised by constant global change, a multidisciplinary approach to education is critical, particularly in subjects such as economics and public policy. These fields are intricately linked to developing phenomena such as AI’s ascent, variable health conditions, and the changing work environment.
Public policy uses the theoretical framework and analytical tools offered by economics to develop and analyse policies addressing important concerns such as poverty, inequality, education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and development. By studying these areas together students gain a comprehensive and adaptable perspective on societal problems’ root causes, consequences, potential solutions, and associated trade-offs.
Future generations must be equipped to navigate the evolving employment scenario in India and around the world, which requires a transdisciplinary approach. With the help of VSEP’s holistic blended learning curriculum, we can provide the next generation with the information and abilities they need to successfully traverse the complexities of the twenty-first century.
