VSEP Students Shine at Anveshan 2024 with Groundbreaking Research Proposal
Three students from Vinayaka Mission’s School of Economics and Public Policy (VSEP), currently pursuing an Honours and Research B.Sc. in Economics, made a significant mark at the prestigious Anveshan 2024 International Student Research Convention.
The research team, comprising Mr. Ashwinkumar L, Ms. Faith Ann Enos, and Mr. Avinash Chavali, presented their innovative proposal titled “Understanding the Economic Importance of Environmental Resources to Eliminate Environmental Degradation” Under the guidance of Dr. Balamurugan S, the study highlights the importance of assigning economic value to environmental resources as a pathway to curbing environmental degradation and achieving sustainable economic growth.
This achievement positions VSEP prominently on the global stage of interdisciplinary student research, a platform endorsed by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). “This milestone underscores the capability of our students to tackle pressing global challenges through innovative economic frameworks,” stated Dr. Debdulal Thakur, Dean of VSEP.
