Faculty > Dr. S. Pavendhan
Dr. S. Pavendhan is an Assistant Professor of English at the School of Arts and Science, VMCC,
Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Paiyanoor. He earned his Ph.D.
in English from Bishop Heber College, affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Trichy, specializing
in postcolonial literature, post-humanism, and English Language Teaching (ELT). Dr. Pavendhan is a
prolific researcher, with numerous publications in Scopus and UGC CARE-listed journals, reflecting
his deep engagement with critical and emerging topics in his field. His academic contributions
underscore his dedication to advancing scholarship in English studies and supporting the growth of
future scholars. Beyond academia, he is dedicated to equipping students for competitive
government examinations such as the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) exams, and National
Eligibility Test (NET) and State Eligibility Test (SET) for lecturer positions.
